| General Membership Benefits
• Pleasant Valley offers its Members the finest in everything: the area’s finest conditioned, championship golf course; numerous practice facilities, including two practice greens and a manicured chipping & bunker practice area; brand new electric Club Car golf carts; a well-respected and lauded banquet facility; first-class Head Professional in Paul Parajeckas; and, a reputation for excellence in every regard
• Membership categories are tailored to fit each individual’s needs, from Individual and Family Memberships, Under-36 Memberships and Social Memberships to a Corporate Membership, all affordably priced and family friendly
• No unexpected assessments to drive Members fees up! Presently, the ONLY assessment to the general membership is an annual food allowance. There have never been any operational or unforeseen restaurant assessments!
• Annual Family Add-on fee, for any membership, is only $1,000, for spouse and all children still in school
• Pool and patio area, social activities, (wine) dinners, Holiday activities and private dining are available to ALL Members, whether golfing, Social or Corporate
• Guest Play is encouraged. Guests may enjoy Pleasant Valley with or without the Member being present
• Pleasant Valley’s banquet facilities are open to all Members, for family weddings, anniversaries, birthday parties, business meetings and/or fundraisers, and all at Member discounts
Membership Terms Key
Unrestricted: Members who enjoy full golfing privileges, without restriction
Restricted: Members who cannot play prior to 11am on weekends or on Holidays, and whose participation in Member tournaments is second to Unrestricted Members. Restricted Membership Dues are discounted $500
Under-36: Young professional’s membership, which offers excellent monetary discounts (see U-36 description) through the season in which the Member turns age 36; (calculated as of April 1st of each season)
Social: Family membership that blends golf, dining and entertaining. Discounted fees allow full use of all practice facilities and two (2) rounds of golf per calendar month (each Member). Membership includes spouses a/o significant other
Social / Dining Only: Family membership that focuses on dining and entertaining. No golf benefits apply. SDO Members enjoy all other Club benefits. Membership includes spouses a/o significant other
Family Add-on: $1,000 added dues fee to welcome spouse and all children still in school as Members. Once a child is emancipated – graduates from college, moves out of parents home, gets married / has children, fulltime job, joins military – he/she is no longer eligible under the Family Add-On
Food Assessment: $1,100 commitment to food purchases throughout the season; (rules do apply)
Sponsoring - Golf & Dining: Members can “sponsor” guests to play golf and/or dine in the Member’s restaurant without the Member being present; (rules do apply)
Guest Policy - Golf & Dining: Guests may accompany a Member for golf twice per calendar month. Guests may also accompany a Member to dinner at Pleasant Valley, without restrictions. Pleasant Valley’s Member’s restaurant is open to the public for lunch only, Tuesday through Friday
Initiation Fee / Non-Equity Club: Pleasant Valley is not an equity Club. Initiation fees help support the operation of the golf course and the Club in general. Initiation fees range from $0 to $15,000 per membership. Initiation fees often include a payment plan tailored to each individual Member(ship)
Handicapped Accessible: Pleasant Valley’s Clubhouse is handicapped accessible
Member Charge Privileges: Members are provided an account to which charges can be made and on which payments can be made, throughout the entire golf season. Limits on account balances do apply
Valet Parking: Pleasant Valley offers complimentary, valet parking for all Members and guests
Massachusetts Golf Association GHIN System: Pleasant Valley is a Member of the MGA and its Members have access to the MGA GHIN system
Child Safe Pool / Patio Area: A comfortable, patio setting, complete with lifeguard, is open for use during the summer months
Member-Guest Tournaments: Member-Guest events are scheduled each month, usually on Wednesdays, for our Members enjoyment
Fourth of July Celebration: A private, professional fireworks display, preceded by golf and a Family Cookout, is held each year
Golf Leagues: Both a Twilight (Tuesdays) and Scotch (Fridays) Leagues are offered, for our Members enjoyment
Junior Golf Programs: Junior golf lessons and clinics are routinely scheduled by the Pro Shop. Children ages 5 and up |
